Embodiment Construction

[0026] Embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings. The flowchart and block diagrams in the Figures illustrate the architecture, functionality, and operation of possible implementations of systems, methods and computer program products according to various embodiments of the present invention. In this regard, each block in a flowchart or block diagram may represent a module, program segment, or portion of code that contains one or more logic devices for implementing the specified Executable instructions for a function. It should also be noted that, in some alternative implementations, the functions noted in the block may occur out of the order noted in the figures. For example, two blocks shown in succession may, in fact, be executed substantially concurrently, or they may sometimes be executed in the reverse order, depending upon the functionality involved. It should also be noted that each block of the ...

Abstract

An embodiment of the invention provides a method and a device for improving cache coherence in a cluster file system. Particularly, the method includes: receiving and acquiring agent requests of agents of a file in the cluster file system; judging the type of the issued agents aiming at the file; if only the reading agents are issued to an agent node, controlling an access node to respond to the agent requests directly; and if the writing agents are issued to the agent node, recommending the agent node to respond to the agent requests directly.

Description

technical field [0001] Embodiments of the invention relate to cluster file systems, and more particularly, to methods and apparatus for improving cache coherency in cluster file systems. Background technique [0002] A cluster file system usually includes a plurality of nodes, and these nodes operate as internal nodes of the cluster file system, and all nodes appear as a cluster file system externally. In order to speed up the response speed of the cluster file system, caches are usually set at each node in the cluster file system. When a client requests to access a file, the node receiving the client request will obtain the requested file from the owner node that physically stores the file, and store the file in the local cache for the client to read used when writing the file. [0003] When multiple clients request access (including "read" and "write" operations) to the same file concurrently, since the write operation is an exclusive operation (for example, when a file ...
