Abstract

The invention relates to a method and a system for generating chaotic frequency modulated radar signals based on combined mapping. The method comprises the following steps of: 101) generating a combined mapping chaotic sequence which is obtained by using first chaotic mapping as parent mapping, generating child mapping parameters of second chaotic mapping and combining child sequences of the second chaotic mapping under the parameters; and 102) performing radar signal frequency modulation by using the combined mapping sequence to obtain the chaotic frequency modulated radar signals based on the combined mapping, wherein the first chaotic mapping is Logistic mapping, and the second chaotic mapping is Bernoulli mapping. In the process that the digital system realizes the chaotic frequency modulated radar signals, the limitation that the chaotic property of the chaotic sequence is destroyed by quantization word length is eliminated; and compared with the conventional chaotic frequency modulated signals, the performance of the generated chaotic frequency modulated signals is remarkably promoted.
