Embodiment 1

[0043] Please refer to figure 1 , an embodiment of the present invention provides a method for detecting an optical fiber connection, including:

[0044] 101. Acquire the first port identifier stored in the first connector of the fiber optic component, where the fiber optic component includes the first connector connected to the local device, the second connector connected to the peer device, and the An optical fiber between the first connector and the second connector.

[0045] The optical fiber assembly includes an optical fiber and two connectors connected to both ends of the optical fiber. The optical fiber is connected to a device through the connector, and the device may be a communication device with a service optical port. For convenience of description, the devices connected to both ends of the optical fiber component are referred to as the local device and the peer device in this document. Specifically, the optical fiber assembly includes a first connector and a se...

Embodiment 2

[0066] Please refer to figure 2 , an embodiment of the present invention provides a method for identifying an optical fiber connection, including:

[0067] 201. Write the first port identifier into the first connector of the optical fiber assembly, where the optical fiber assembly includes the first connector connected to the local device, the second connector connected to the peer device, and the An optical fiber between the first connector and the second connector.

[0068] The fiber optic assembly includes a first connector, a second connector and an optical fiber connected between them. There is a storage circuit in the connector, and information such as port identification can be written into, and the written port identification can be modified. The port identification can be written by the optical fiber manufacturer, and can be written or rewritten by the user.

[0069] When the port identification needs to be written, connect the first connector of the fiber optic c...

Embodiment 3

[0074] Please refer to image 3 , an embodiment of the present invention provides a system for detecting optical fiber connections, including:

[0075] A local device 310, a peer device 320 and an optical fiber assembly 330;

[0076] The optical fiber group 330 includes a first connector connected to the local device 310, a second connector connected to the peer device 320, and an optical fiber connected between the first connector and the second connector;

[0077] The peer device 320 is configured to acquire a second port identifier stored in the second connector, and send the second port identifier to the local device 310;

[0078] The local device 310 is configured to obtain the first port identifier stored in the first connector, receive the second port identifier sent by the peer device 320, and compare the first port identifier with the second port identifier. Whether the two port identifiers match, determines whether the fiber optic assembly 330 is connected correctl...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for detecting fiber connection, which comprises the steps that a first port identification stored in a first connector of an optical fiber component is acquired, wherein the optical fiber component comprises the first connector connected with equipment at the end, a second connector connected with equipment at the opposite end, and the optical fiber connected between the first connector and the second connector; a second port identification sent by the equipment at the opposite end is received, wherein the second port identification is acquired by the equipment at the opposite end from the second connector; and whether the optical fiber component is connected rightly is determined through comparing whether the first port identification is matched with the second port identification. An embodiment of the invention further provides a method as well as a corresponding system and device for identifying fiber connection. According to the technical scheme provided by the embodiment of the invention, during a detection process, manual data comparison is not needed, therefore, the dependence on manual operation is reduced, and the intelligent management level is improved.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of communication, in particular to a method for detecting optical fiber connections, a method for marking optical fiber connections, and corresponding systems and devices. Background technique [0002] With the development of network technology, fiber-to-the-home has become a trend, the number of fiber connections is increasing, and the optical distribution network (Optical Distribution Network, ODN) is becoming more and more dense. At present, the routing and connection of ODN products rely on manual operations, and it is difficult to detect the correctness of the fiber port connection and find the fiber port. [0003] In the prior art, the following methods are usually used to detect whether the optical fiber connection is correct. [0004] In one mode, optical instruments are used to detect the correctness of the optical fiber connection. The detection method includes: using an optical instrument to send...
