By the method, when a vehicle encounters traffic lights and in an idle state under the urban working condition, the distance between the vehicle and the one ahead appears on the parking radar for reference for a driver in form of the graphic display rather than the early warning of the voice. Since the driver does not mean to park, voice warning is not required to guarantee promptness and safety of the driver, and potential safety hazard resulted from the fact that the driver is easily to forget to turn on a control switch of the parking radar once again after turning off the same in a conventional method is thus avoided.
