Embodiment Construction

[0017] The embodiments of the present invention will be described in further detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings and examples. The following examples are intended to illustrate the present invention, but not to limit the scope of the present invention.

[0018] Let {N(t), t≥0} be a counting process in [0, t) time, if the conditions are met:

[0019] (1) {N(0)=0} (zero initial value);

[0020] (2) For any s≥t≥0, Δt>0, the increment N(t+Δt,s+Δt) and N(t,s) have the same distribution function (incremental stationarity or homogeneity) ;

[0021] (3) For any positive integer n, any non-negative real number, 0≤t 0 ≤t 1 ≤…≤t n Increment N(t 1 )-N(t 0 ), N(t 2 )-N(t 1 ),…,N(t n )-N(t n-1 ) are independent of each other (incremental independence);

[0022] (4) For a sufficiently small time Δt, we have

[0023] P(N(Δt)=1)=λΔt+ο(Δt)

[0024] P(N(Δt)=0)=1-λΔt+ο(Δt)

[0025] P(N(Δt)≥2)=ο(Δt)

[0026] Then {N(t), t≥0} is called a Poisson process with int...

Abstract

The invention provides a computer simulation method for a poisson process of network service flow. The computer simulation method includes: firstly, setting average network service reaching volume and total network service volume to obtain a network service reaching ratio, wherein the network service reaching ratio is a ratio between the average network service reaching volume and the total network service volume; and then, producing a random number from the range from 0 to the total network service volume-1, generating services if the random number is smaller than the average network service reaching volume, and otherwise, generating no services. Results prove that a service generating process of the computer simulation method satisfies the poisson process, and accordingly the computer simulation method can be used for computer simulation of the network service flow. The computer simulation method simulates the poisson process by simulating the network service reaching ratio and without invoking negative exponential distribution functions, so that simulation of the network service flow is simpler and more convenient and is understood easily.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of communications, in particular to a method for simulating a Poisson process of a network traffic flow or a telephone call flow by using a computer. Background technique [0002] The information source is an important part of the communication system. To analyze the performance of the communication network, it is necessary to model the communication source first and describe the characteristics of the service flow (voice call flow and data packet flow) entering the network. Because the service objects of the communication network are random, the Poisson process can generally be used to simulate the traffic flow (voice call flow and data packet flow) arriving at the network node, that is, various information sources arriving at the network node. At present, a Poisson flow is generally simulated by calling a negative exponential distribution function, but the process of constructing or calling a negative exponential di...
