The method particularly comprises the steps that whether an operation instruction input by a user on the self-service terminal is a preset type instruction is determined; if so, an opening instruction is sent to monitoring equipment on the self-service terminal, so that the monitoring equipment performs monitoring and video recording on operation of the user; and a closing instruction is sent to the monitoring equipment when the operation corresponding to the operation instruction is finished, so that the monitoring equipment stops the monitoring and the video recording.
