Abstract

The present invention discloses a heart model for demonstration of air embolism and first aid postures. The heart model includes a heart shell model, a superior / inferior vena cava model, a pulmonary artery model and an aorta model, wherein the heart shell model is provided inside with four cardiac chambers and two atrioventricular valves. The superior / inferior vena cava model, the pulmonary artery model and the aorta model are connected respectively with a right atrium, a right ventricle and a left ventricle. Entrances of conduits representing the superior and inferior venae cavae each are provided with a silica-gel seal, and each are provided with a small tube which penetrates through the atrioventricular valves to reach directly at a gas injection small tube of the right ventricle. An entrance of a conduit representing the pulmonary artery is also provided with a silica-gel seal cap resistant to puncture. The heart model for demonstration of air embolism and first aid postures can offer visual and vivid demonstration of the process of air embolism in the heart, therefore meeting the need for medical teaching and practice.
