The multimedia evaluating device is coupled with the display unit for acquiring and recoding face expression of an observer for the multimedia data and generating image evaluating data according to the face expression of the observer. The image evaluating data comprise a plurality of expression labels. The expression labels respectively have an expression character and a playing time which corresponds with the multimedia data; wherein, the multimedia evaluating device determines the type of the multimedia data according to the image evaluating data. The multimedia evaluating system can determine content and type of the multimedia data through analyzing the real feeling of the observer to the multimedia data, thereby replacing the prior characters and subjective comments and improving interest of the observer.
