Abstract

The present invention relates to an image recording device. The recording head is constructed to selectively spray ink droplets from the nozzle. The recording head board is constructed to control the recording head based on the high-frequency signal output from the control board to operate. The carrier is constructed to move in a repetitive manner, and the recording head and the recording head plate are mounted on the carrier. Ribbon cables connect the control board to the recording head board, enabling high-frequency signals to be transmitted between the control board and the recording head board. The cable is flexible, such that the cable can change attitude with the reciprocating motion of the carrier. The cable has a first surface facing the thickness direction of the cable. The cable has a reflective layer at a portion of each of the two ends of each end of the first surface with respect to the longitudinal direction of the first surface.
