The PWM duty cycle is detected (1.2). When the PWM duty cycle is greater than a preset value P%, the reference voltage value is adjusted (1.3), and the PWM output is limited (1.6). With the method, the problem of the over voltage of the locomotive auxiliary electricity generation circuit is solved, which is caused by promoting the rotating speed of a diesel engine when the diesel engine is rotating in low speed and an air compressor is working.
