The electricity generation system includes a solar preheater for preheating compressed discharge air, a combustor to receive the heated compressed air from the solar preheater, burn a fuel using the heated compressed air to generate hot burned gas, a first turbine to receive the hot burned gas from the combustor, expand the hot burned gas to generate exhaust gas, a heat recovery steam generator to receive the exhaust gas from the first turbine, generate vapor by heating a condensed fluid using the exhaust gas, a solar evaporator/superheater to receive a heated working fluid from the heat recovery steam generator, generate solar vapor by heating the heated working fluid, and a second turbine to drive a second generator using vapor and the solar vapor.

The turbine's blades are affixed to the inner surface of a cylindrical shell which is free to rotate about an outside supporting structure. A hydrogen-electricity co-production (HECP) system utilizes a fuel cell to produce hydrogen, electricity, or a combination of both hydrogen and electricity. In a first mode, the fuel cell performs an electrochemical reaction by reacting a hydrogen-containing fuel with oxygen to produce electricity, water and heat. The invention discloses a system and a method for using sintering waste heat to generate electricity and belongs to the technical field of sintering waste heat electricity generation of the steel works. The system comprises a sintering machine, a hot gas outlet pipe, a gas waste heat boiler, a main exhaust fan, a ring cooling machine, a first and second stage heat waste gas collecting pipe, a waste gas heat boiler, a draught fan, a circulating fan, a chimney, a low pressure steam drum, a middle pressure steam drum, a feed pump, a pressure reducing valve, a collecting header, a steam turbine, a generator, a condenser and a condensate pump. The invention realizes utilizing the waste heat of the non-desulfurization flue header of the sintering machine without arranging an inducing fan by reasonably designing the hot gas connecting mode of the air box at the tail part of the sintering machine and the gas resistance of the waste gas heat boiler. First and second stage sealing covers of the ring cooling machine are uniformly provided with a plurality of waste gas branch pipes so as to realize uniform distribution of the waste gas pressure in the sealing covers and reduce air leakage. Part of waste gas is adopted to circulate to improve the temperature of the waste gas. Compared with the existing system for using sintering waste heat to generate electricity, the system of the invention sufficiently uses the waste heat of the sintering system, improves the waste heat generated energy and reduces the operation cost.

In one general aspect, a solar cell is positioned to receive concentrated solar radiation and convert part of it into electricity and part of it into heat. A first heat exchanger is thermally coupled to the solar cell and includes microchannels that have a cross-sectional dimension to the center of the channel that is about equal to or less than the thermal boundary layer thickness for a working fluid. The electric generator comprises a methanol water storage container, a delivery pump, a heat exchanger, a reformer, a separation device and a fuel cell, wherein the delivery pump is used for delivering methanol and water to a reforming chamber of the reformer; the heat exchanger is used for carrying out heat exchange on the low-temperature methanol and water and a high-temperature mixed gas output from the reforming chamber; the reformer is provided with the reforming chamber and an electric heater, and the electric heater provides heat energy for the reforming chamber; and the high-temperature mixed gas which takes carbon dioxide and hydrogen as main parts is prepared in the reforming chamber, passes through the heat exchanger and then enters the separation device to be separated to obtain the hydrogen, and the hydrogen is delivered to the fuel cell and subjected to electrochemical reaction in the fuel cell to generate electric energy, a part of the electric energy provides electricity for the delivery pump and the electric heater, and the rest of the electric energy is output. According to the electric generator, the reformer has no need of being provided with a combustion chamber, an air inlet fan, an air inlet channel and a smoke window, the heating temperature inside the reformer is easily controlled and stable, and the reformer is simple in structure, stable in operation and low in overhaul difficulty.
