Problems solved by technology

However, in most P2P networks, the differences between these nodes are not considered, but all nodes are treated equally, which may cause a series of problems such as storage load and routing load imbalance, resulting in peer node load imbalance, wastes a lot of available resources
Due to the huge difference in the online activity time of P2P nodes, the frequent joining and exiting of nodes may affect the stability of the network
Moreover, when the number of nodes in the network reaches a certain number, the maintenance of the network topology and the traffic in the network exceed the maximum load limit of most nodes, it is easy to cause a sudden collapse of the network

[0080] The topology of the hybrid hierarchical P2P network is as follows: figure 1 As shown, its operation mainly includes three modules: node joining, data resource search, and node leaving. The specific steps are as follows:

[0081] Step 1. At the initial moment, build a P2P network and set up super nodes.

[0082] Step 2. The super node receives a request from a normal node. If it is a request to join the P2P network, go to step 3. If it corresponds to a request to leave the P2P network, go to step 4. If it corresponds to a data resource search request, go to step 5.

[0083] Step 3. Enter the ordinary node to request to join the P2P network module, the flow chart is as follows figure 2 As shown, the specific process is as follows:

[0084] (1). Ordinary nodes randomly select a super node M and send a joining request to it.

[0085] (2). After the super node M receives the join request, it will not reply immediately, but calculates the request to join the node and all ...

Abstract

The invention discloses a peer-to-peer (P2P for short) network resource search optimization method based on node proximity estimation. The method combines a hybrid hierarchic P2P network topologic structure, and is mainly used for optimizing the P2P network resource search process, and solving the problems of mismatch between logic topology and physical topology the P2P network, node heterogeneity and the like. Considered that under general situations, each host computer usually chooses connection to a physically proximal domain name resolution server, based on that, the cosine similarity theory formula is adopted to divide the host computers with the same or similar domain name resolution servers into a P2P cluster, and when the P2P technology is applied to search and download resources, the resources in the local cluster or the physically proximal resource nodes are selected as far as possible, so as to reduce unnecessary flow generated in the domain or the backbone network, the resource search efficiency is improved, and the P2Pflow optimization is promoted.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a resource search optimization method based on node proximity estimation applied to a peer-to-peer network (P2P, PeertoPeer), which is specifically applied in the process of P2P network resource search and belongs to the technical field of network communication. Background technique [0002] In recent years, the number of Internet users has grown rapidly, and P2P applications have achieved unprecedented development. The number of users accounts for the vast majority of Internet users. While P2P makes the network unprecedentedly active, P2P traffic occupies a large amount of network bandwidth and consumes a large amount of network resources, resulting in congestion of key network links and a sharp decline in the performance of other Internet applications. [0003] Existing research work shows that one of the important reasons for P2P excessive consumption of network resources is the randomness of P2P application in resource sear...
