According to the embodiments of the present invention, a monitoring platform can send video data and PTZ operation information to a monitoring terminal for synchronous display according to a judgment result, or does not send the PTZ operation information, thus solving the problem of security hazards and user interference resulting from hybrid coding of PTZ operation information and a video code stream and subsequent transmission of same to a terminal for display in the prior art.
