According to the invention, reasonable storage modes can be flexibly allocated for files according to types of the files. The method comprises the following steps: the file distribution control center acquires files to be stored; the file distribution control center judges types of the files to be stored; if the files to be stored are cold-spot files, the file distribution control center sends a first file storage message to a storage node so as to make a server of the storage node store the cold-spot files; and if the files to be stored are hotspot files or ultra-hotspot files, the file distribution control center sends a second file storage message to the storage node and an edge node so as to make the storage node and the edge node store the hotspot files or ultra-hotspot files.
