The measuring method comprises the following steps: respectively shooting a first panoramic photo and second panoramic photo of a measured object at two points arranged at a preset interval; according to the first panoramic photo and the second panoramic photo, obtaining highest and lowest points in the first panoramic photo and second panoramic photo of the measured object; measuring the vertical distance between the highest and lowest points so as to obtain a first panoramic height and a second panoramic height; and according to the preset interval, the first panoramic height and the second panoramic height, calculating an actual height of the measured object. The embodiment of the invention also provides a mobile terminal.
