The method comprises the following steps: (1) ultrasonically extracting dry and crushed tobacco raw material, adding an inorganic salt solution and a hydrophilic micromolecule organic solvent to form the double-water-phase system, mixing, stirring, ultrasonically extracting, standing to separate the phases, wherein the polyphenol is extracted to the upper phase and the residues are distributed to the lower phase and a demarcation layer; and (2) directly sucking the organic solvent upper phase in the double water phase after ultrasonic extraction in the step (1), so as to obtain polyphenol extract; removing the inorganic salt from the polyphenol extract, and drying at a low temperature to obtain a tobacco polyphenol product.
