Abstract

The invention discloses an equipment management system applied to a gateway. When terminal equipment is communicated with the gateway, equipment identification information of the terminal equipment is acquired, and a database definition file (DDF) of the terminal equipment is downloaded from a database server according to the acquired equipment identification information. The system displays details of the terminal equipment in a preset human-computer interaction interface according to the DDF. When a user gives a control command through the human-computer interaction interface, the system sends the control command to the terminal equipment so as to control the terminal equipment to execute corresponding operation.
