Abstract

There is provided a double-layer composite metal powder particle including: an iron (Fe)-based powder particle; an insulating layer formed on a surface of the iron (Fe)-based powder particle; and a lubricating wax coating layer formed on the insulating layer. There is provided a method of manufacturing a double-layer composite metal powder particle, the method including preparing an iron (Fe)-based powder particle, forming an insulating layer on a surface of the iron (Fe)-based powder particle, and forming a lubricating wax coating layer on the insulating layer. The invention further provides a method of manufacturing a soft magnetic core. The double-layer composite metal powder particle provided by the invention can be used for preparing the magnetic core which has high density, improved magnetic flux density and low magnetic core loss.
