Embodiment 1

[0049] The embodiment of the present invention proposes a multi-instance parallel network element access method, see figure 2 , image 3 and Figure 4 , at first, remote method call server RMI SERVER and two or more network management agents are set between the network management server and the network element, and the method includes the following steps:

[0050]Step 401: The network management server sends a network element access request message to a remote method invocation server RMI (Remote Method Invocation) SERVER, and the network element access request message contains the identification identifier of the access network element and the remote method invocation RMI identifier.

[0051] Step 402: The RMI SERVER invokes a certain network management agent according to the RMI identifier contained in the network element access request message.

[0052] Step 403: The called network management agent converts the protocol of the network element access request message using...

Embodiment 2

[0055] Through a specific example below, when more than two network management agents are deployed on a single server, the implementation process of the multi-instance parallel network element access method described in the present invention is described in detail. Figure 5 , including the following steps:

[0056] Step 501: Set up a remote method invocation server RMISERVER and more than two network management agents between the network management server and network elements, and deploy more than two network management agents on a single server.

[0057] In this step, deploy more than two network management agents on a single server with multiple network cards. A single server starts with multiple IP addresses, including a primary IP address and multiple virtual IP addresses. The network management agent assigns an IP address. Deploying more than two network management agents on a single server not only improves the processing efficiency of messages, but also improves the u...

Embodiment 3

[0067] Through a specific example below, when more than two network management agents are deployed on more than two servers, the implementation process of the multi-instance parallel network element access method described in the present invention is introduced in detail. Image 6 , including the following steps:

[0068] Step 601: Set up a remote method invocation server RMISERVER and more than two network management agents between the network management server and the network elements, and deploy more than two network management agents on more than two servers.

[0069] In this step, any one of the two or more network management agents is deployed on a server respectively, and the IP address of the network management agent is the IP address of each server.

[0070] Step 602: The network management server sends a network element access request message to the RMI SERVER, and the network element access request message carries the identification identifier of the access network ...

Abstract

The invention provides a network element access method and system with multiple concurrent instances. A remote method invocation server RMI SERVER and two or more network management agents are arranged between a network management server and network elements. The method comprises the steps that S1, the network management server sends an network element access request message to the RMI SERVER, wherein the network element access request message contains an identification identity and an RMI identity of the access network element; S2, one network management agent is invoked by the RMI SERVER according to the RMI identity contained by the received network element access request message; S3, the invoked network management agent conducts protocol conversion on the network element access request message through the SNMP, and sends the network element access message to the corresponding network element. By the adoption of the network element access method and system with the multiple concurrent instances, the problem that when the network management server sends a great number of network element access requests, messages are backlogged and lost is solved.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of network technology, in particular to a multi-instance parallel network element access method and system. Background technique [0002] The common access methods of network elements in the network management system are as follows: figure 1 As shown, the network element and the network management system implement protocol conversion and message sending and receiving through a single network management agent. [0003] When the number of network elements connected is not large, figure 1 The single network management agent deployment manner shown can complete the information exchange between the network management server and the network elements without hindrance. However, in the network environment where the network management server sends a large number of network element access requests, figure 1 The deployment method shown faces the problem of a huge amount of upstream and downstream messages, which will cause hu...
