The refrigerant concentration detection device comprises a detection part and a driving device, wherein a sensor is arranged on the detection part; the driving part is in driving connection with the detection part so as to drive the detection part to move. The invention also provides the air conditioner which comprises an air-conditioning heat exchanger and at least one refrigerant concentration detection device connected with the air-conditioning heat exchanger. Because the detection part is not fixed and can be moved, an area which is far away from the sensor on the detection part can be detected by the detection part, and rapid and accurate detection can be performed without omission. Therefore, the refrigerant concentration detection device and the air conditioner with the same have the advantages that the danger that a protection device cannot act during leakage of an air-conditioning flammable refrigerant caused by detection omission can be avoided.
