The switching equipment port MAC address binding method enables one switching equipment port to be bound with multiple MAC addresses. The port only permits the MAC address or the target MAC address serving as an MAC data message bound with the MAC address to pass through after being subjected to MAC address binding, and data messages of other MAC addresses of the port are abandoned. A source MAC address or the target MAC address serving as data message bound with the MAC address can be also forwarded from the port and is directed abandoned at other ports, and accordingly the safety of a local area network is greatly improved.
