Abstract

A device is described for treating synthetic threads in a melt spinning process having a plurality of treatment devices arranged in separate treatment chambers. The treatment chambers are connected to one another via a thread opening and have separate doors for opening and closing. In order to achieve the simplest possible operability when a process starts, the doors are coupled according to the invention by an adjustable holding means in such a manner that the doors can be operated together as one unit or separately from one another, depending on the position of the holding means.
