A main cooking device is provided with a micro controller unit (MCU) which is connected with a first communication module, a second communication module, a display panel, an audio module and a data storage unit. An intelligent measurement tool comprises a measurement tool communication module, a measurement tool micro processor, a measurement tool sensor, a measurement tool power supply and a measurement tool indicator lamp. Menu data are preserved in the data storage unit. The MCU can retrieve the menu data in the data storage unit, and can be in communication with the measurement tool communication module through the second communication module so as to transmit raw material or seasoning quantity information in the menu data to the intelligent measurement tool. The measurement tool sensor can measure the quantity of raw materials or seasoning. The measurement tool micro processor can compare quantity data measured in real time with the quantity information in the menu data. The intelligent cooking measurement tool and method effectively help a user determine the quantity of the raw materials and the seasoning, and cooking taste and enjoyment of the user are greatly improved.
