Problems solved by technology

However, this method has a limited application range. For example, for relatively hard touch objects, the contact area with the touch device under different pressures does not change much, so the pressure detection is not accurate enough and may even cause misoperation.

Abstract

A sensing method based on a capacitive touch panel is provided. The capacitive touch panel includes a touch sensor, a pressure sensor, and a deformable insulating layer disposed between the touch sensor and the pressure sensor to form a gap between the touch sensor and the pressure sensor. In the sensing method, at least one touch position is located using the touch sensor. Pressure information is sensed based on a number of self-capacitance variation values detected from the pressure sensor. The self-capacitance variation values are generated by a deformation of the deformable insulating layer under an external force.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a touch sensing method, in particular to a sensing method capable of detecting pressure based on a capacitive touch device. Background technique [0002] The capacitive touch device generates a change in the capacitance value of the touch sensor through the contact of an object (such as a finger or other conductor), and the position of the touch point can be located from the change in the capacitance value. Traditional capacitive touch devices usually provide one-dimensional or two-dimensional touch point positioning, and some gestures are detected by judging the touch time, such as clicking, rotating, zooming and dragging. In addition, with the increase of user experience and various functions of capacitive touch devices, there are more and more detections and applications of the pressure acting on the touch devices in the prior art, such as writing brush characters. [0003] At present, in the prior art, different users or d...
