Embodiment 1

[0025] Add 60g of ammonium polyphosphate (APP) powder into a three-neck flask containing 180ml of toluene at room temperature, stir and raise the temperature to 50°C, keep stirring and add 7ml of methyl methacrylate and 3ml of hydroxyethyl acrylate mixture dropwise; keep stirring at 50°C for 10 Minutes, heat up to 70°C, add dropwise benzoyl peroxide (BPO) solution (prepared by dissolving 0.10g benzoyl peroxide in 10ml methyl ethyl ketone); heat up to 80°C, keep stirring for 4 hours, and filter with suction 1. Washing with toluene, suction filtration, and drying to constant weight, the obtained white powder is the reactive core-shell structure flame retardant.

Embodiment 2

[0027] Add 60g of ammonium polyphosphate (APP) powder into a three-neck flask containing 210ml of toluene at room temperature, stir and raise the temperature to 55°C, keep stirring and add 7ml of methyl methacrylate and 3ml of hydroxyethyl acrylate mixture dropwise; keep stirring at 50°C for 10 Minutes, heat up to 70°C, add dropwise benzoyl peroxide (BPO) solution (prepared by dissolving 0.10g benzoyl peroxide in 10ml methyl ethyl ketone); heat up to 80°C, keep stirring for 4 hours, and filter with suction 1. Washing with toluene, suction filtration, and drying to constant weight, the obtained white powder is the reactive core-shell structure flame retardant.

Embodiment 3

[0029] Add 60g of ammonium polyphosphate (APP) powder into a three-neck flask containing 240ml of toluene at room temperature, stir and heat up to 60°C, keep stirring and add 7ml of methyl methacrylate and 3ml of hydroxyethyl acrylate mixture dropwise; keep stirring at 50°C for 10 Minutes, heat up to 70°C, add dropwise benzoyl peroxide (BPO) solution (prepared by dissolving 0.10g benzoyl peroxide in 10ml methyl ethyl ketone); heat up to 80°C, keep stirring for 4 hours, and filter with suction 1. Abstract

The invention belongs to the field of materials, and discloses a flame retardant having reactivity and adopting a core-shell structure as well as a preparation method and an application of the flame retardant. The flame retardant takes APP (ammonium polyphosphate) as a capsule core and takes a methyl methacrylate and hydroxyethyl acrylate copolymer as a capsule material. The preparation method comprises the following steps: APP particles are added to a solvent at the room temperature, stirred and heated to 50-60 DEG C; a polymer monomer is added dropwise while stirred, the mixture is stirred for 10-20 min at the temperature of 50-60 DEG C and then heated to 70 DEG C, and a benzoyl peroxide solution is added dropwise; the mixture is heated to 75-85 DEG C, subjected to heat preservation and stirred for reacting for 4-8 h, and the flame retardant having reactivity and adopting the core-shell structure is obtained after extraction filtration, washing and drying. The surface of the flame retardant contains active reaction groups (hydroxyl) which can react with polymer such as rigid polyurethane foam, flexible polyurethane foam, polyurethane elastomer, polyurea and the like, so that the compatibility of the flame retardant in a substrate is improved, and the flame retardant is insoluble in water and has efficient flame retardancy.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of materials, in particular to a reactive core-shell structure flame retardant and its preparation method and application. Background technique [0002] With the increasing application of high molecular polymers in modern life, polymer flame retardant technology has developed rapidly. It has experienced the development process from halogen-based flame retardant to halogen-free flame retardant. The flame retardant system has been continuously enriched and perfected, among which Most of the phosphorus-based flame retardants have the advantages of low smoke, non-toxic, low-halogen, and halogen-free, which are in line with the development direction of flame retardants and have good development prospects. They have become a hot spot in flame retardant research. [0003] Ammonium polyphosphate (APP) is an important phosphorus-based flame retardant. The phosphorus content of ammonium polyphosphate is as high as 30% to 32%, a...
