Benefits of technology

In this new technology called Vertebrate Steel Pipes (VSP), there are two main components: one is an apparatus that measures changes over time caused by water levels or other factors like rainwater on topography; another component consists mainly of tiny wires embedded within it. These small wire elements connect all these parts together through wireless communication devices. They work well when placed at different depths below ground level due to their ability to detect any change from above them without being affected by external influences like wind pressure. Overall, VSP allows for precise measurements of soil temperatures and moistening during periods where no human intervention may take place.

Problems solved by technology

This patents describes different technical problem areas related to studying soil temperatures and humidity with regards to monitoring natural resources (such as rainwater) or providing an accurate understanding on global climates like crop production. Traditional methodologies involve collecting samples at fixed locations within specific layers of land under study, which may result in imprecisely collected measurements due to factors including poor sampling quality, limited range of detection devices, insufficient battery life, difficulty in obtaining consistently reliable results over long periods of use, etcetera.

Embodiment Construction

[0017] The present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings and in combination with embodiments.

[0018] refer to figure 1 As shown, a wireless soil temperature and moisture gradient measurement system includes sensor groups composed of soil temperature sensors and soil moisture sensors, each of which is set in the direction of the vertical gradient of the soil to be measured, and the same vertical gradient Multiple sensor groups in the direction form a sensor node through the analog-to-digital conversion channel. Each sensor node forms a node transmission network through a ZigBee wireless network and routing nodes. The node transmission network connects the central acquisition node through a multi-channel analog switch and forms a star network. The central acquisition node internally stores and corrects the accuracy of the data transmitted by the sensor nodes, and transmits the processed data to the data display terminal through...

Abstract

The invention discloses a wireless type-based soil temperature and moisture gradient measuring system. The soil temperature and moisture gradient measuring system comprises sensor groups consisting of soil temperature sensors and soil moisture sensors, wherein each sensor group is arranged in a vertical gradient direction of soil to be measured, a sensor node is formed by multiple sensor groups in the same vertical gradient direction through an analog-digital conversion channel, a node transmission network is formed by a ZigBee wireless network and a routing node between every two sensor nodes, the node transmission network is connected with a central acquisition node through a multi-channel analog switch to form a star topology structure, and the central acquisition node carries out internal storage and precision calibration on data transmitted by the sensor node, and transmits the processed data to a data display terminal through an RS232/RS485 communication interface for observation and analysis. By adopting the technical scheme of the invention, the measurement of three-dimensional soil temperature and moisture is achieved, and each sensor node is used for wireless transmission of data, so that the energy consumption is low, and the applicable occasions are wide.
