The support part (48) comprises or forms at least one support element (54, 56) for the tool receptacle (16), and the tool receptacle (16) can be secured on the at least one support element (54, 56) by way of the securing part (72). In order to provide such an adapter device, which has increased versatility for accommodating a tool receptacle, the securing part (72), according to the invention, can be transferred from a parking position to a securing position, wherein in the securing position, the securing part (72) projects from the support part (48), and in the securing position, a free end (82) of the securing part (72) is at a greater distance from the support part (48) than in the parking position.
