Abstract

The invention relates to a steel rail damage detection cart which comprises a push handle, travelling wheels, a vertical detection rack, image detection equipment, ultrasonic detection equipment and an ARM11 processor, wherein the travelling wheels are used for enabling the steel rail damage detection cart to travel between steel rails; the image detection equipment and the ultrasonic detection equipment are arranged up and down on the vertical detection rack; the image detection equipment is used for processing collected steel rail images; the ultrasonic detection equipment is used for conducting ultrasonic detection on the steel rails; and the ARM11 processor is connected with the image detection equipment and the ultrasonic detection equipment respectively, and the damage degree of the steel rails is determined based on the results of image processing and ultrasonic detection. Through the steel rail damage detection cart, the damage degree of all the steel rails on the travelling path of the steel rail damage detection cart can be detected so as to provide important reference data for maintenance of the steel rails.
