Embodiment Construction

[0016] The present invention adopts MEPLE (Minimized Error Propagation Localization Method based on Error Estimation) positioning method to calculate the position information of new unknown nodes.

[0017] combine figure 1 , a positioning method based on the principle of minimum propagation error when the number of anchor nodes is limited, including the following steps:

[0018] Step 1, collect the location information of the neighbor nodes of each new node, the neighbor nodes are the nodes that can be received within the receiver signal sensitivity range;

[0019] Step 2, measure the distance between the new node and each neighbor node, and obtain the estimation error of each distance;

[0020] Step 3, from the location information of neighbor nodes, select the node with the smallest propagation estimation error;

[0021] Step 4, use the location information and distance of the selected neighbor nodes to calculate the new node location and estimation error.

Abstract

The invention provides a positioning method based on a propagation least error principle for use under the condition of a limited anchor node quantity. The positioning method comprises the following steps: 1, collecting position information of neighboring nodes of each node; 2, measuring the distances between the new nodes and each neighboring node to obtain the estimation error of each distance; 3, selecting nodes with least propagation estimation errors from the position information of the neighboring nodes; and 4, computing the positions and estimation errors of the new nodes by using the position information and distances of the selected neighboring nodes. Useful neighboring nodes, comprising anchor nodes and conventional nodes, are selected. The positioning method is suitable for computing the positions of the new nodes through the propagation least error principle of the new nodes and the neighboring nodes under the situation of a very small quantity of anchor nodes.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of position awareness, in particular to a new positioning method when the number of anchor nodes is limited based on the principle of minimum propagation error. Background technique [0002] Location awareness has become an important feature of many wireless network applications including location tracking, maps, route-based positioning, coverage management, cooperative signal processing, and many others. For example, in routing protocol-based positioning, its routing and data forwarding all have definite geographic locations. If the position of nodes can be more accurately located, the data transmission efficiency of the network will be higher. [0003] However, due to cost and energy constraints, not all nodes have reliable sources of location information like GPS receivers. Since GPS needs to be precisely synchronized with satellite clocks, the solution of adding GPS to each node is not suitable for large-scale w...
