The system comprises a cloud server for storing an on-demand program, a program ID, social group information and a corresponding relationship among the on-demand program, the program ID and the social group information; a smart television which can interact with a cloud end to obtain on-demand program content and corresponding social group information; and a mobile client for identifying the social group information and accessing an information exchange area corresponding to the social group information in order to perform social activities through information exchange. Information interaction is performed through the smart television, the cloud server and the mobile client, so that a user can input interactive topic information by the mobile client to perform program-specific communication while watching an on-demand television program; the social function of the television is realized conveniently and rapidly; and the demand of the user on communication during watching of the on-demand television program is met.
