The method comprises the steps that a user uses an intelligent terminal to scan the configured two-dimensional code of a router and emits scanning information after the router is powered on; the router receives the scanning information, automatically detects the access environment of the uplink network, and sends a detection result; the intelligent terminal opens a corresponding configuration interface according to the detection result; the user inputs configuration information in the intelligent terminal; the router establishes connection with the intelligent terminal according to the configuration information; and the router receives a configuration request from the user, and completes initial configuration. According to the method of the invention, initial assembly can be completed via only a mobile phone needless of inputting complex URL, and other equipment and network cables are not needed; the environment of the uplink network can be identified automatically, and user configuration is simplified; and UCI which processes an independent configuration file based on single program is used, so that when certain configuration value is modified, the user need only to restart the single network program but not other programs.
