The traditional Chinese medicine formula is prepared from the following medicinal materials in percentage by mass: 25-35g of fructus xanthii, 10-15g of dandelion, 10-15g of folium artemisiae argyi, 15-25g of pine needles, 15-25g of cephalotaxus fortunei, 20-30g of flaccid knotweed herb, 10-15g of chenopodium album and 15-20g of all-grass of creeping acroptilon; the medicinal materials are dried and are uniformly mixed, and the medicinal materials are crushed into powder by virtue of a pulverizer; and an obtained traditional Chinese medicine is fed to chicken twice every day by 3-5g in each time. The traditional Chinese medicine formula can effectively cure mites and can avoid other side effects on the chicken; the turn of three days is taken as a treatment course, the cure rate within one treatment course is 83-85% and the cure rate within two treatment courses is 93-95%; the formulated medicinal materials in the formula are easy for collection; and the traditional Chinese medicine formula is relatively suitable for villages in southwest regions.
