The control module is located on a body of the unmanned aerial vehicle. The control module is used for controlling the contact charging ring to make contact with a charging panel of a charger for charging a battery of the unmanned aerial vehicle when the battery voltages of the unmanned aerial vehicle is lower than the preset voltage value. Due to the fact that the control module can be used for controlling a charging loop between the contact charging ring and the battery of the unmanned aerial vehicle to be connected, the battery installed on the unmanned aerial vehicle is charged in the manner that the contact charging ring makes contact with the charging panel of the charger. After the electric quantity of the battery of the unmanned aerial vehicle is reduced, the charging loop installed between the contact charging ring and the battery on the unmanned aerial vehicle can be automatically connected, the contact charging ring on the unmanned aerial vehicle makes contact with the charging panel on a charging platform, and therefore automatic charging is achieved, and unattended operation of the unmanned aerial vehicle is truly achieved.
