Abstract

The present application provides an application testing method and system. In the method, a pool of testing devices comprises at least one real device and at least one simulation device; each real device and each simulation device separately correspond to one device identifier; and the device identifier corresponding to each simulation device is a virtual mapping identifier. The method comprises: receiving a testing request of a user for a to-be-tested application; selecting ,in the pool of testing devices, at least one device as a current testing device; acquiring a device identifier corresponding to the current testing device each; based on the device identifier corresponding to the current testing device each, sending a testing instruction to the current testing device, wherein the testing instruction is used for instructing the current testing device to test the to-be-tested application; and receiving a testing result returned by the current testing device. Thus, according to the method in the embodiments of the present application, the pool of testing devices is constructed by mixing the real devices with the simulation devices, and therefore the testing effects are ensured as much as possible while the costs can be reduced.
