The method comprises the following steps of detecting a battery module temperature value and an exterior environment temperature value; and when the battery module temperature value is higher than a preset low temperature threshold value of the battery module and is lower than a preset high temperature threshold value of the battery module, and the exterior environment temperature value is higher than a preset low temperature threshold value of the environment and is lower than a preset high temperature threshold value of the environment, enabling the battery module to charge at full power. Through the embodiments of the invention, the battery module temperature and the environment temperature are detected to limit the charging capability of the battery module under the extreme condition, so that the service life of the battery module is guaranteed.
