Abstract

When an MAC forwarding table entry is generated by the physical gateway based on flow entries, a single MAC forwarding table entry is generated based on N (larger than one) flow entries. That means, for the above N flow entries, only one MAC forwarding table entry is stored in the hardware table entry resource of the physical gateway. Therefore, the hardware table entry resource of the physical gateway is saved. The defect that the hardware table entry resource of the physical gateway is insufficient can be overcome.
