The message processing method, device and system are applied to a first switch in a VXLAN. At least two equivalent paths exist between the first switch and a second switch. The method includes the following steps that: a first VXLAN message is sent to the second switch through a first path in the at least two equivalent paths; a second VXLAN message is received; whether the first VXLAN message satisfies a path switching condition is judged according to the second VXLAN message; and if the first VXLAN message satisfies the path switching condition, subsequent VXLAN messages which belong to the same data stream as the first VXLAN message are sent to the second switch through a second path in the at least two equivalent paths. With the message processing method, device and system of the invention adopted, the problem of performance degradation of a system caused by a situation that sub data streams are sent with preset time intervals can be solved, and the performance of the system can be improved, and disordering of messages can be avoided.
