Abstract

The invention relates to an access control method and apparatus for a storage system. The method comprises the steps of detecting whether a fault occurs to a storage node in at least two storage nodes or not; and when it is detected that the fault occurs to one storage node, configuring other storage nodes, so that a storage region managed by the storage node with the fault is managed through other storage nodes. According to embodiments of the invention, a high-availability storage network can be provided.
