Abstract

The invention discloses a method for expanding custom service in big data component management by using Ambari. The method comprises the following steps: selecting next stack version from the stack of existing stack structure of Ambari; newly building a service component folder under the stack version; newly building and editing a service meta-information file under the service component folder; newly building a folder configuration and newly building and editing the configuration files of the service component in the folder; newly building a folder package and newly building folders scripts and templates in the folder package; newly building and editing the phython script used by the service component in the folder scripts; newly building and editing a service configuration file template used by the phython script in the folder templates; and restarting ambari-server and adding a service component to the web UI of ambari. Through the method disclosed by the invention, an aim of unified deployment and monitoring of new service components can be achieved.
