Abstract

The invention discloses an application of trans-cinnamaldehyde to preparation of a medicine for treating cerebral arterial thrombosis. The protective effect and a possible mechanism of the trans-cinnamaldehyde for oxygen-glucose deprived PC-12 cells are explored by building an oxygen-glucose deprivation model. Experimental results indicate that cell survival rate is increased after oxygen-glucose deprivation reperfusion, and active oxygen in the cells is reduced. Besides, the trans-cinnamaldehyde can stabilize mitochondrial membrane potential and reduce the apoptosis rate of the PC-12 cells, which indicates that the protective effect of the trans-cinnamaldehyde is possibly related to oxidation resistance. The results prove that the trans-cinnamaldehyde has a protective effect on ischemic injury.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the application of trans-cinnamaldehyde, in particular to the application of trans-cinnamaldehyde as a drug for treating ischemic stroke. Background technique [0002] Ischemic brain disease, also known as ischemic stroke, is the third leading cause of adult death and the first leading cause of disability worldwide. At present, intravenous thrombolysis is considered to be the only effective and feasible treatment for stroke, but due to its strict treatment time window and the risk of intracranial hemorrhage, the patients who benefit from this treatment are very limited. Therefore, it is particularly important to find new solutions for stroke treatment. [0003] Research on the mechanism of cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury has progressed rapidly in recent years. It is generally believed that cerebral parenchyma ischemia and hypoxia occur during cerebral ischemia, and the energy metabolism disorder caused by ischemia and hyp...
