The B pillar assembly provided by the invention comprises two B pillar bodies, a first cross beam and two B pillar stiffening beams, wherein the top ends of the two B pillar bodies are positioned above a back upper main beam of the automobile; the bottom ends of the two B pillar bodies are connected with a doorsill beam at the side corresponding to the automobile; the two ends of the first cross beam are in lap joint with and fixed at the back upper main beam at the side corresponding to the automobile; the two B pillar stiffening beams are positioned at the inner sides of the two B pillar bodies; the lower sections of the two B pillar stiffening beams and the upper sections of the B pillar bodies are overlapped; the outer side walls of the B pillar stiffening beams are connected with the inner side walls of the B pillar bodies; the top ends of the two B pillar stiffening beams respectively support a top cover of the automobile; the bottom ends of the two B pillar stiffening beams are both connected with the first cross beam.
