Abstract

The invention discloses a monitoring data acquisition method and system. The system comprises at least one probe used for acquiring monitoring data of at least one application; and the probe and the application are in one-to-one correspondence. The method comprises the following steps of: obtaining the monitoring data of the at least one application acquired by the at least one probe, wherein each probe is configured with an associated probe identifier; and the probe identifier is used for showing whether an appointed user has the monitoring permission to the application corresponding to the associated probe or not; according to the probe identifier, determining a target probe, wherein the target probe is included in the at least one probe; and the probe identifier represents the probe showing that the appointed user has the monitoring permission to the application corresponding to the associated probe; and storing the monitoring data obtained by the target probe. For users having different monitoring permissions, differentiated demands of the users can be satisfied only by deploying a set of monitoring data acquisition system; therefore, the system deployment cost can be reduced; and the system is upgraded and maintained easily.
