Embodiment Construction

[0060] The following will clearly and completely describe the technical solutions in the embodiments of the present disclosure with reference to the accompanying drawings in the embodiments of the present disclosure. Obviously, the described embodiments are only some of the embodiments of the present invention, not all of them. Based on the embodiments in the present disclosure, all other embodiments obtained by persons of ordinary skill in the art without making creative efforts belong to the protection scope of the present disclosure.

[0061] Assume that the cloud service provider deploys m distributed data centers to process service requests, and these data centers are represented by a set I. The system is modeled as a discrete-time system, and the length of each timestamp is denoted by τ. For each timestamp t, the total number of requests is represented by A(t), with a i (t) to denote the number of requests dispatched to data center i at timestamp t. So:

Abstract

The present invention relates to a request scheduling method and device for a cloud data center. The method includes performing the following steps in each time stamp: S1. Obtain the queue length of servers in each data center at the beginning of the time stamp; S2 . Calculate the first objective function value of each data center, and distribute all service requests in the timestamp to the data center with the largest first objective function value; S3. Initialize the second objective function value to negative infinity; S4. For each operating frequency in the operating frequency set of each data center, determine the optimal operating frequency and optimal operating quantity of the data center; S5, for each data center, the optimal operating quantity determined in S4 The server is turned on, and the running frequency of each turned on server is adjusted to the optimal running frequency determined in S4. The present invention can reduce the queue length under the condition of increasing the system benefit, and realize the compromise between the system benefit and the queue length.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to the technical field of request scheduling, in particular to a request scheduling method and device for a cloud data center. Background technique [0002] With the promotion of cloud computing, many cloud services are released on the Internet. Many large-scale data centers have been developed to provide cloud services. Cloud service providers provide a variety of services and have established cloud data centers distributed in different geographical locations. These cloud data centers host a large number of services, such as video playback, social networking, and web search. In order to support the operation of these cloud computing centers, a large amount of energy is consumed every year. According to reports, an average Google search consumes 0.0003kWh of electricity, which would consume more than 32,000,000kWh of electricity a year. [0003] In order to reduce energy consumption, there are two ways: the first is to...
