The method comprises the following steps: the terminal is in an initial pairing state, receives and analyzes broadcasting packets successively in each frequency band at intervals of first set time length, determines the broadcasting packets carrying preset pairing codes, and establishes a pairing connection with a gateway selected from the gateways corresponding to the broadcasting packets carrying the pairing codes; the terminal is in a state for being paired with the gateway again, determines that historically paired gateway information is stored, receives and analyzes the broadcasting packets successively in each frequency band at intervals of third set time length, wherein the broadcasting packets carry the gateway information transmitting the broadcasting packets, determines a frequency band corresponding to the broadcasting packets paired with the historically paired gateway information, and establishes a paired connection with the gateway corresponding to the determined frequency band.
