An electronic vapor supply system comprising a vaporizer for evaporating liquid for inhalation by a user of the electronic vapor supply system; a power supply comprising a battery unit or battery for supplying power to the vaporizer; for measuring a sensor for the velocity of airflow through the electronic vapor supply system; and a control unit for controlling the power supplied to the vaporizer based on the cumulative airflow inhaled by the user, wherein the cumulative airflow is determined based on the sensor's measurement of the airflow velocity. Such a system allows the user to control the amount of evaporated liquid obtained in a given inhalation based on the cumulative airflow for the given inhalation.
