Abstract

The invention discloses a cache synchronization method for a distributed SAN (Storage Area Network). The cache synchronization method comprises the following steps of: judging whether an operation request sent from a client side is a read operation request or a write operation request or not; if the operation request sent from the client side is the read operation request, searching reading data contained in the read operation request in a cache region, and returning the reading data to the client side; sending a cache synchronization instruction corresponding to the reading data to a partner controller; if the operation request sent from the client side is the write operation request, writing writing data into the cache region according to a writing address contained in the write operation request; and sending a cache synchronization instruction corresponding to the writing data to the partner controller. Obviously, by use of the method, the cache synchronization of the partner controller can be realized, and a phenomenon that cache data in the partner controller is not synchronous is avoided so as to lower reading efficiency.
