The present invention discloses a filter device for filtering a gas flow. The device has a head end with an inlet and an outlet, the head end also having a first flow conduit connected to the inlet and a second flow conduit connected to the outlet. The device also has a filter and a cartridge housing the filter and connected to the head. The barrel has an annular groove.
