Abstract

The invention provides methods used for controlling luminance of airplane LED indication lamp. The luminance of airplane LED indication lamp is changed through combined adjustment of a constant current controller and a duty ratio PWM controller. The first method includes that the duty ratio PWM controller does not work and the constant current controller provides adjustable stable current for the airplane LED indication lamp; the current output by the constant controller changes and the luminance of the airplane LED indication lamp changes accordingly. The second method includes the current output by the constant current controller keeps constant and the duty ratio PWM controller outputs different PWM value and the value is loaded on the current output by the constant current controller, so that luminance change of the airplane LED indication lamp is realized. Combining the two control schemes, a current control method is adopted in a high luminance area, so that LED color change is avoided; and a duty ratio PWM method is adopted in a low luminance area, the adjustment proportion is controlled and electromagnetic compatibility is ensured.
