Abstract

The invention relates to a sheet processing device which is provided with a standby portion, a processing portion, a first component and a second component. The processing portion is arranged under the standby portion. The first component presses the end of the upstream side of a first sheet in the sheet conveying direction under the condition that the first sheet enters the standby portion. The second component presses the end of the first sheet before the first component presses the first sheet. The second component is separated from the first sheet after the first component presses the first sheet. The second component applies force facing the processing portion to the first sheet under the condition that the first sheet moves from the standby portion to the processing portion.
