Abstract

The plug-in strip (2) has a plug portion (8), and the plug connector (4) has a receiving portion (10) with a receiving opening (12) so that the plug portion (8) can be guided through the receiving opening (12) so as to engage into the receiving portion (10) in order to connect the plug connector (4) to the plug-in strip (2). The locking element (6) is arranged on the plug connector (4) in a movable manner and can thereby assume a locking position, and the plug portion (8) is provided with a latch actuating element (36) on the outer face. The locking element (6) has an operating element (24) and a latch portion (30). The rear face (40) of the latch actuating element (36) lies on the latch portion (30) in the locking position. A plug connector system with a locking element is thus provided, having a low installation height, allowing a secure lock, and being easy to unlock.
